Dear Classmates,
Good News! In
addition to the Cruise on April 19th 2010,
the land reunion is on its way. We will be having our two night event at
the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Friday April 16th and
Saturday April
17th, 2010.
That’s right we’re going back to the Hard Rock. If you missed the last
reunion here is your chance to Rock at the Hard Rock. Everyone who
attended the last reunion had a wonderful time. The accommodations are
beautiful and the place is jumping all night.
Not only is
there a great Casino, but the shops and night life are fantastic. So come
and enjoy the great Milestone of a 50 year reunion of our classes.
Friday it will
be our “Welcome Gathering Night”, at their beautiful pool site set up
especially for the class of 60, 61 and 62. We will begin at 7pm until
10pm with Hors d’oeuvres being served from
8pm
to 10
pm, and a cash bar for our drinking pleasure. Casual Dress. Saturday
night, will be our “Milestone Gala”, we will be having a sit down dinner
and cash bar, with a reception starting at 7pm, dinner being served at 8pm
and on going until 11pm with your favorite 50’s music for your dancing
pleasure and share old memories of our high school days. Semi-Formal
Dress.
The cost for
the two nights is $160.00 per person. We are asking that you do not delay
in sending your RSVP and the cost for the week-end events. There are
several deposits that the Hard Rock is requiring due to reserving the
dinners. The final due date for payment for both events is March 1st
2010, however, to insure your dinner reservation please send in your money
as soon as possible. We are not able to take your money at the door so
please be sure to have your payment in by the due date.

We are still
working on a group rate for rooms at the hotel for all who wish to stay at
the Hard Rock’s beautiful Hotel. Joanne Cocchi should know by mid
September what that rate will be, or you may call for reservations and ask
for the McArthur High School 50th reunion group rate. Be sure
you emphasize that it is the
McArthur
High School 50th reunion in April because there is another
McArthur H S reunion for the 1970 classes in July. We do not want a mix
up. They require a Credit Card to hold your reservation, however, payment
for your room does not have to be paid until check out time. If you
prefer to contact Joanne just call her or e-mail her and she will let you
know what the room rate is for Friday and Saturday night.
We will,
however, send out e-mails going forward with the latest news and reminders
