McArthur 60-61-62
First we would like to wish each of
you a very Merry Christmas. I hope Santa brings you everything
that you have asked for.
The cruise ship still has a few cabins
available and it is NOT to late to call Suzanne to make your
reservations. She will be able to get you on the ship as long as
there are cabins. We would sure like to have you join us and
share in the excitement of our 50th.
Many of you know that Suzanne has been
working to find a hotel for the night before the cruise (Sunday
April 18) that is more affordable than the Hard Rock. She has
found the Hyatt located at 1851 SE 10th Ave, Ft Lauderdale, Fl
33316. The price is around $125.00 nightly. They are willing to
let us park at the hotel while we are on the cruise for $10.00
a day (a savings of $5.00 over the port) and they will provide
transportation to the port as well. Now they are willing to go
one step further and for $7.95 plus 6% tax they will give us a
Cocktail Reception with a cash bar in their “Guest Kitchen”. The
menu would include dishes like: Cocktail shrimp, Mini Beef
Wellington, Assorted Quiche, Chicken Satay, Scallops wrapped in
bacon and fresh vegetables with dip.

to be staying at the hotel to attend the reception. We will need
at least 25 people to get that price.

contacted Joanne (DeFlora) Cocchi to make reservations for the
land portion of the reunion, please contact her soon as a
